I'm fairly certain this will be what my final itinerary will look like, but not all plans aren't locked in just yet. In particular, everything from Brugge to the Greek Isles is still flexible. Rome onward has been booked.

Perhaps we should consider Lucca, near Florence. Christina and her husband Paul loved it! She wrote about glowingly about it here.
My German teacher, Silke, has an uncle who owns a winery near Frankfurt: Weingut in Alsheim
ReplyDeleteYou guys are going to have SO MUCH FUN! Don't miss the fries with mayo/curry sauce/etc. in Brugge, and see if there are any sales in the chocolate shops. There's also a great pub, Cambrinus, where you can drink the local brew (Brugse Zot) and eat a steak marinated in Trappist beer and served with Trappist cheese.
